    WRONG.

Oh, and if you're going to put The Doors, at least mention LA Woman before The Doors.

    Deep Purple - Machine Head
Genesis - Selling England By The Pound (one of the best prog albums ever)
Gentle Giant - The Power And The Glory
Jethro Tull - A Passion Play (everyone's going to disagree on this one)
King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King (one of the best debut albums ever)
    Pink Floyd - DSotM
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
    Pink Floyd - Animals
Pink Floyd - The Wall (the best concept album ever)
    The Who - Who's Next
Yes - Close To The Edge

Those are my favorites off the top of my head. I'm not going to impose best albums of all time on you guys.

    Disintegration~The Cure
    Purple~Stone Temple Pilots
    Throwing Copper~Live
    Pyromania~Def Leppard
    Back in Black~AC DC
    Fallen~Evanescence
    The Wall~Pink Floyd
    Violator~Depeche Mode
    Appetite For Destruction~Guns N' Roses

I base all of my choices on what I never get sick of. Each and every one of these albums I have been listening to for years and have yet to get tired of them. I can listen to them like they were only just released.

It's gotta be Silverchair's Diorama, for me. Comparing that to their previous cd, it's a huge change. Probably not a welcome one, for some, but I think it's genius. Particularly "Across the Night". Beautiful.

Most albums by The Smashing Pumpkins are pretty damn good as well. I couldn't specify one particular album, though, because they're blending all together in my head...
