Here's a thought ...

If you had your own " avatar " ie. GF , Eidolon ... minion ... whatever ... who/what would it be ? What kind of physical characteristics/attributes would it boast ? What kind of personality would it have ? etc etc.

( and YES , I WAS a Pokemon'/Digimon fan ...till about 5 years ago ... ... oh , AND I really don't care if anyone on the site staff moves this since I won't be posting for a long while )

What you said, that's not at all an avatar. An avatar would be if you were some sort of ethereal being or deity and could manifest yourself in a shape of your choice.

Eidolon as in, you summon him, he kicks some ass, and then goes away? Or eidolon as in, bodyguard that constantly shadows you?

Anyway, if the latter is the case, I'd want an exact clone of me with 3 conditions: 1) We have a mental link (can communicate telepathically and use each other's senses). 2) Any positive changes in the clone get transfered to me and vice versa (if one of us works out and gets stronger, the other will get stronger as well). 3) The clone won't get uppity and try to take over; it'll always obey me, and I'll never forget which one of us is the original.

And if the former is the case (summon, kickass, disappear), then both of us need to be impossible to kill. (Not invulnerable to damage; just impossible to be killed. In video game terms: HP can be reduced, but not below one.) I could still be KOd, but not destroyed.
