Trust No one
Is the first one any good? I keep hearing about how good it is but still haven't been able to get myself a copy.
Ico is definitely one of the best games ever made. It's over in around four hours, but that hasn't stopped me from playing it over and over again. It's just that good.
The sequel, Wanda and the Giants, looks like it'll have no trouble living up to its predecessor's reputation.
Well, the concept is pretty original. Wander a world filled with Colossi, ranging from humanoid Giants to Wyverns-like fliying serpents, then take them down by any means nesscessary. Hopefully the story doesn't falter.
Boy am I an unfunny ass.
Depends what you look for in a game. If you like your games imbued with emotion (which you probably do seeing as you are on this site) then I can wholeheartedly recommend it to you. It's worth it for the heartfelt conclusion alone! One of the most memorable endings ever.Is the first one any good? Yeah because Ico had such a deep story with numerous masterfully-woven layers of character development and plot progression.Originally Posted by Dark_Paladin_Cecil

Ugh, the last thing I would want is some overbearing Squeenix style plot.
I would like to point out that ICO somehow beat Metal Gear Solid 2 for character development for the AIAS awards.
From what I understand this is not a sequel but just a new title.
I expect it'll be a "spiritual sequel," like, say, Gunner's Heaven was to Gunstar Heroes.
