Communism is the best system on the paper (and in Civ 2, but that's a different topic), or in an angelic/utopic world. In the real world, it never worked out (USSR, Cuba, China), doesn't work (China, N. Korea), and will never work.

hey i dont think anarchy is the way to go either ok! but i think society (including myself) are creating things too fast and therefore creating too many responsiblities at once that we cant seem to handle, and this is what seems to be causing some anarchy. How COULD it be possible that the whole damn world will agree with each other? its just not possible. so i dont think there is any point in talking world peace unless of thousands of years of evolution get rid of our pride etc.

So when i said goverment was bad full stop, i actually tried to say all that while being extremely lazy, sorry.

Someone check out this site and do some thinking.

Communism is a radical, ideal system, but it just doesn't work. Not everyone is equal, and forcing everyone to be equal means you just find the lowest person and shove everyone down to their level. It doesn't work. It also infringes on rights than many consider to be unalienable: as the US constitution generally states, the rights of "life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness."

"Capitalism is the uneven distribution of wealth. Communism is the even distribution of poverty."

I'm very aware of that fact; But that's the view I've got.

Personally, I've was born and raised in a Communist belief family. So it's only natural that I follow that belief. I've known it hasn't worked in the past, and probably never will as long as greed remains in people's souls. Personally, I see democracy as a system for the weak, and it is very corrupt system of government. I'd prefer not to share my beliefs on that particular thought though. Since I'm aware that Communism will not work in practice, I'm adapted to what is in America. However, I still support Communism, and Socialism to the fullest extent.

Temple Knight: Sorry this is a long thread, and I was tired when I wrote that. I haven't really paid huge attention to who said what apart from a few details.

By the way, I don't know how accurate it is, but the link in Wuggly Blight's post gives a fairly detailed explanation (from what I've read of it so far) of reasons people may feel negatively towards America.

I say what I think. If you disagree, then that is up to you.

I was raised as a catholic but I am a protestant.
And why do you support communism if it will never work?Let it go.

That's the same you as telling your parents to use birth control. They wouldn't believe in doing so. That is why I won't let it go. Please do not tell me to throw my beliefs away again.

What I think he was trying to say is that "I believe in [belief here] because I was raised by parents believing in it" is a pretty shaky base for that belief, which I agree with. It should come from your own appreciation of the various systems that exist, and then make your own judgement about what would be the best system.
For example, my wife was raised Catholic, and her mum is Baptist. She's Orthodox now, because she went through various religions, studied what they were teaching, and what she felt was the best in her faith.

In a nut shell, that pretty much hits the nail on the head. Though I still think telling someone to drop their beliefs is a load of crap. I know Communism doesn't work, and I openly admitted it. But to then criticize me on that is just bull.

I'm hoping he gets banned for repeated flamming and other nonsense. I've reported him four times now.
