Noname, the patriot act is bad because it isn't going to be used to simply fight terrorism. If it violates our rights in anyway, than you can be damn sure that any and all politicians will use that to thier advantage. I can, without a shred of doubt, say that the Bush administration will turn the United States government into some kind of despotic government, if they get the opportunity, that is. However, the unfortunate thing is that they are getting the opportunity. 9/11 was every politicians dream. Under the guise of fighting terrorism, and keeping us "safe" from an attack that is not coming they can take complete control. I doubt that they will actually succeed, but if no one stands up than they most definetly will.

Sorry to all that are offended by this but this must be said.

Why do I think that its the worst?Well there is a reason to it.

1.They lose 2500 people and a building but they have to crush more than 100000 civilians and the pride and dignity of two countries while losing almost 1000 more people on their side and milliards of dollars of money that could be used to help people not blow them into pieces.All the excuses they make to go with it are stupid and false and just hiding the real, embarrasing reason.They have successfully shattered the reputation of America especially in Iraq and Afganistan which they are still stubbornly trying to "bring democracy" to.

I am very worried of the world if the biggest one of the "supercountries" have such stupid,selfish,warmongering leaders leading them.I pray to all gods that Bush and his goverment gets not reelected in 2008 or he might just lead us to WWIII

A) Every single fact on here has been spun media style, which leads me to the extremely likely assumption that your are reading Conservative or Liberal heavy media forms of what is actually going on. unless you HAPPEN to be an omniscient god form, you really have little or no right to judge what is going on in the upper strata of American politics. For all i know, Bush could be holding some mega secret piece of information that makes this whole thing fit, It could have allmade sense in the first place, or i could have absolutely no idea whats going on because i'm being forcefed Larry King Live and Rush Limbaugh shows that are molding my brain to their whims. Just stop acting all self riteous from either perspective and state your stance. (for the record "BUSH SUCKS! DOWN WITH AMERICAN!!!! GRRR I HATE DUM WAR MONGERING AMERICANS!" is not an opinion, it's excessive and uneeded.)
2) exactly how would you have gone about the 9/11 disaster? I dare you, i smurfing dare you to say that as a president in office less than a year, with the weight of the most powerful nation in the worlds anger on your shoulders, that you would not have marched armed forces over there to try and avenge some folk. you can't say you wouldn't, because you would. you're talking about a blatant, outright attack on the center of american economics, using bombs filled with our own people. (that's "planes" for the metaphor-impaired.) The country would have revolted either way, bush got stuck in one of the stickiest situations ever, and the fact that he's a christian gave a lot of liberals room to accuse him of trying to turn the US into a church state. Long story short? Bush got nailed due to circumstance, and his immediate response to appease the nation has gotten him stuck in something now that he's ahving issues getting out of. cause and effect people.
3) What does the "american government" have ANYTHING to do with what you are all talking about? all i'm hearing is senseless bush bashing left and right form people that have listened to too many green day speeches. In fact, i've heard less than ten mentions that i can remember of any American Government at all. government is a system, not the people in the system. perhaps "American Leadership is the Worst Leadership in the world" would have been a better title.

He never bothred to even read the report.9/11 could've been prevent as they had a month to prevent it from happening.The bush adminstration played everyone like they were pimps.And in his inagural speech he basicly said"I'm sorry baby I'll change I'll change."Which sounds like the words of a pimp whom will not keep there promise and keep doing the same crap over and over again.

Infrastructurally it's quite sound, the current problems are more because of corruption within the system and disinterest by the American public. The less attention being paid to politics and the state of the world, the further America, or any other country, for that matter, falls.
