Thread: System clock problems again

    Default System clock problems again

I did spyware and virus scanes but my PC clock won't stop going all messy. It was fine but then ten minutes later it goes back about three hours. I keep thinking it has something to do with a program that appears on my system tray called "Minibug" but I can't uninstall it through add/remove programs. How do I fix this and get rid of minibug?

Again? Well will that get rid of the minubug? I'd rather get rid of that.

I dunno. It was just there. It was there after I downloaded AIM.

AIM is spyware, now you know not to touch it.

I can only think of two reasons why your clock would keep changing time.

    1. Your BIOS battery has had it and needs replacing.
    2. WinXP has a function where it syncs with a server to get the time. Try turning it off. Double click the clock in the task manager, then go to, Internet Time. Un-check the box which says, "Automatically synchronize with an Internet server."
