Thats what I like about the game, its not shoving in your face, 'hey he likes her and not the other one' So you can interpret it however you want. Its just nice to see the bits you enjoy - Cloud/Tifa or Cloud/Aeris, and when the one you dont like comes up (for me the Cloud and Tifa convo at the end of Disc 2) Just go make a cup of tea or something

No I dont think they'll hook up anyone either, it wouldnt be in their best interests too. This way they can get both sets of ppl CloTifa's AND CloAer's to come along and see the movie. , if they did it one way or the other they miss out on some fans going to see it. Its better for them to leave it ambigious, better for alot of the fans that dont care either way too
