You know, the other day i was thinking about the whole Ashlee simpson image/product. i think this is a boarderline strategy to make publicity out of humiliation. Let me explain, in her show she's humiliated tons of times, she can't sing, or she gets lost, and so forth. When i see that she can't sing a note, and she can't write a thing, that makes me (being a musician) angry, and makes me wanna go bash her with everyone i can. it is at this point that i fell in the trap, because what i'm doing is giving her publicity. That's what happened with many people i know. But still she wasn't so big, because not everyone saw her show. So they decided to do something "big". The lip-sync incident was probably one of the most talked about issues i've seen, especially in the net, which is something rather rare, there was at least 1 thread in every message board i go to and add to that the creation of a whole website just because of this.
