Nothing indicates that Materia so much as exists in Kingdom Hearts, or that the Yuffie of Kingdom Hearts was a thief. I realize that most of those of you making Posts to that affect are probably joking, but I thought I should put that out there.
Anyway, as has been previously stated, it's not indicated that a Rinoa existed in Kingdom Hearts.

I think this doesn't include his story.In fact I don't wanna think about it.It's too difficult and boring.Far more interesting point of view that he is the only survivor(as far as we know) of his world.Don't know about Selphie.How does she fit in?But I won't guess and just wait for KH II to come out.Then everything will become clear(maybe not everything but most).Squall is 25 years old in KH and 17 in FF VIII, which says about a lot of possibilities.Whatever, the scar, "gift" from Seifert is on his head.

Do you even know why he changed his name? He went from Squall to Leon because, he didn't want people to know his first name because he was the only one to make it out of the darkness that was spreading in the ff8 world! Like he didn't want to be a disgrace since he didn't save his friends or something.
Whatever happened I believe Rinoa is save and now when allthe worlds which fell prey to Heartless are restored.And they are, if someone doubt.Destiny Islands are the good example. :P

Not the FFVIII world. He lives in Hollow Bastion with Cloud, Aerith, and Cid. That ALONE is enough to show that his story is not the same. He's not an exclusion to the rule. Selphie being a child is further evidence, and the fact that the creators have said that KH is a stand-alone universe. The goings on in KH are not effected by the stories of FF, or vice-versa. Further proof? Aerith is alive. Further proof? Cloud has a wing. Further proof? Tidus growing up with Wakka and Selphie.
The scar is there because it's part of his character. When we're introduced to Squall, he doesnt have a scar. Then, five seconds later, he receives it. It's part of his character.
The universes do not mix. The inclusion of FF and Disney characters is for fun. Look at, for instance, the story of The Little Mermaid. Ursula is killed before Ariel becomes a human and meets her Prince. If the worlds were the same, then that would negate the entire movie. Same goes for pretty much every world around.

It's stated that he changes his name out of guilt. He didnt want to be called Squall anymore. He never starts over, he works to stop the Heartless... with Yuffie and Aerith no less. If he wanted to start over, he would have left them. They're just more memories from his world, anyway.
They are NOT from his world.Yuffie is from world of FF VII as well as Aerith.And if he didn't want to be called Squall anymore doesn't it mean "start over" or start from the beginning?I'm sure it is.

Maybe you should play the game. I understand that the games they come from are VII and VIII. I'm not an idiot. However, in the universe of Kingdom Hearts they are from the world of Hollow Bastion. This is fact.
He didnt want to start over. If he wanted to start over, he would have left everything and forgotten about the Heartless. He didnt want to be called Squall because he was ashamed of his failure. You can argue with me all you want, but it's in the game.
Nomura, the creator himself, has stated that it's a different universe. At the end of the game, Squall, Yuffie, Cid, Cloud, and Aerith are all reunited on their own world... Hollow Bastion.
Nomura indeed said all of this but did he give you list of differences in which this reality alters fom other?And they are not all from the World of Hollow Bastion.If Selphi Wakka and Tidus, who also are from FF games series are from the Destiny Islands in this reality, why then others can't be from anywhere else.

I'm not excited, please don't talk down to me. I thought you hadnt played the game by the way you talked.
Not all characters from one game go to the same world, as is evidence by Tidus, Selphie, and Wakka. The others have been on Hollow Bastion quite some time, perhaps even their whole lives, as is evidence by what Aerith says.
The fact that Selphie is 8 or so is enough proof that things didnt happen the way they did in VIII. If they did, why would Selphie be a child while Squall was an adult? They grew up together, didnt they? Until they were sent to Gardens, of course. If the events of VIII happened in that universe, then Selphie would be the same age as Squall. That's proof enough.
And there's a large difference between opinion and fact.
