One thing you could do would be to switch insurance companies. We used to go through State Farm and they screwed us royally and repeatedly. We were paying a different amount every month and it was way too high. Now we use Unitrin, and our insurance is $160 a month. That's for two vehicles: a 2003 Mazda Protege and my hubby's Jeep (don't remember what year). Plus, we're both 21. It was only $75 a month until I got my newer vehicle.

My husband was in a fender bender a few months ago, which is what raised our insurance from $150 to $160. Not a huge deal, except it wasn't his fault. At all. Of course, the other driver was a COP and there were no other witnesses, so.....there you have it.

I would tell you not to worry about your premium going up too high, if at all, but we are dealing with State Farm here, and, well....I'd say they're almost as evil as Sprint PCS. But that's another story.
