Here in the Netherlands we have problems with the different cultures. We have especially problems between the Dutch and the Marrocan people. Now there was an incident last wensday.
A woman gets robbed of her bagin her car by two Marrocan boys on a scooter. She wants her bag back. So she chase the boys in her car. But by something the women looses control of her car and hits a tree. Problem is that one of the two boys is stuck between the tree and the car. He dies. The other gets away. Now people see it as an bad accident....that is the Dutch people. The Marrocan people think the women killed the boy because he was from Marroco. They are very pissed off. Now does the community to hold a memorial tour, I mean by that, that they will remember that boy. Also the neighbourhood say it was an innocent boy, that never did anything.
Well the story isn't finished yet. Cause the boy isn't really innocent. Two hours before the accident he was released from jail. He sat in jail because of an armed robbery. He got two months. After two weeks, his brother "gave" him an alibi.
The end of the story is sad. While they are helding a memorial tour for the robbing thief (who suddenly is a victim who never did anything) and the woman is charged with murder (she is suddenly a criminal).
I think this isn't right anymore. The woman gets charged while see actually tried to save her things. And the thief get a memorial tour. That is such a bull. Ofcourse it's good that family and friends can say goodbye. No problem. But the tour is because the woman "killed him because he's from Marroco".
What do you think about it?
