The life of Cloud Strife

I am interested in everyones opinions one the life of cloud. Many think he was just a test tube subject lead to beleive he was nothing more.I think he was the inbodyment of the best intentions anyone can have for themselves or others

The fact that he had parents and a past negates that. Tifa can prove his existance from childhood on, so no. He's a normal man who was experimented on, and through extreme stress and a need to prove himself, adopted the memories of his friend (using what he was told and nothing more complicated than that).

To add to that, the Mako experiments made him weak and *almost* erased his true memories. So everything he was told afterwards, he believed.
