missing Esper?
ok,I was looking thru my Esper list,and I noticed a blank slot right above where Crusader would be(if I had it T.T),and when I checked an Esper list on the net,I couldnt find sumthin to go there. so,does any1 know this Esper's identity or wut it does or where to get it? or is there suposed to be nuthn there?
You get Crusader when you defeat all the legendary dragons. You may have to defeat Skull Dragon last, since that's when you're supposed to get it. Anyway:

If you have Raiden then you won't have Odin, and vice versa, thus leaving a blank space in the menu. Once you have obtained Odin from the Ancient Castle you need to walk five steps down from the right-hand throne and press X. This will cause a staircase to appear in the right-hand room. Go down it to find the Blue Dragon and a statue of the Queen. Examining the Queen will cause the Odin magicite to transform into the Raiden magicite.
my Odin has become Raiden. I'm talkin about the slot right above Crusader,not to the left

To get Bahamut you need to defeat Doomgaze, but not with the Vanish/X-Zone trick as you won't get Bahamut if you do. Find Doomgaze by flying all over the world map in the Falcon. Eventually you will get into a battle with him. He has 55,555 HP and has a tendancy to Escape battle after attacking you with L5. Doom and other spells. Any damage dealt to him will carry over to the next battle, so keep flying around until he is defeated.
I have Bahamut. I have all Espers except Odin(which became Raiden),Crusader,and the Esper that I dont know about
The list I provided is of all 27 Espers available. They're all there is.
u mean there's not another one? so the most u can have is 26? then why would there be two extra slots?
There's the slot in which Odin used to reside, and there's an empty spot specifically to allow you to unequip your Esper, since you have to select a blank slot to do so.
Because they are laid out two-by-two, Odin and Raiden are different Espers so they occupy different slots, therefore a grid of 14x2 is needed to display them all resulting in 2 spaces at the end. And for the reason mentioned above.

Maybe they wanted to keep Raiden a secret. I don't know, I didn't design the game. Email Square if you need an explanation.
Look... Odin and Raiden are two entirely different Espers. As long as you have one, you cannot have the other. So henceforth, the maximum possible amount of Espers you can have without cheating is 26/27. That's all there is to it.
Actually, the other Esper is Thor. You have to use the Thor's Hammer 255 times and then he appears on the same square on the world map that you start the game on.
Problem is that there isn't a sprite. You gotta walk around it and hope for a "Thor" random encounter. But there's a 1 in 180 chance that that encounter will happen, so it'll probably take a while.
Thor does and electric attack twice as powerful as Bolt 3 and he teaches you Bolt 3 and Earthquake (? Which is that quake like spell?) at x 10.
