Yeah, my last line in the post was to signify my futility in actually being able to dispatch the game all by myself.

9 by far isn't the worst. Its not the best but it is good.

Personally I don't think 11 should even count as an FF since there is no Final conflict. Its not a final fantasy whatsoever, its an MMORPG. I have no problem with square making an MMORPG, even calling it FF is fine, but including it in the series of console games that brought them their fame isn't my idea of a great move. Since the game can't be beaten it is never truly Final.
