    Is catnip harmful to the cutey wooty fuzzy bellies in any way? Sure, it makes them go crazy, but does it have any kind of negative effect like drugs do to humans?

    Is Catnip Harmful?
    While it may seem like your cat has just taken a few shots of a strong alcoholic beverage, it is believed that catnip has no harmful affects on cats. Catnip is sometimes used to resolve feuding cats- catnip would be rubbed into each cat so they would see each other with a new attitude. Catnip can also be used as a pain killer in sick or injured cats. Overall, catnip produces an outcome similar to a Marijuana high in humans (fortunately catnip is not illegal, or else we’d also have a black market between felines)!
    So yay, Catnip is like legal Marijuana for a cat. Wonderful. :rolleyes2 :rolleyes2 :rolleyes2

    Catnip is funny stuff...mainly for the things it makes cats do.

    We got a catnip plant once, and our cat rolled in the plant and crushed it to death.
