Peeling

I love onions, but peeling them frustrates me a lot. And I dont get those wet eyes. Or at least I haven't cried whilst peeling lately. Only got wet eyes when I stuffed cloves of garlic in my both nostrills ( you should try it at least once). :-P

I like onions in certain meals (like Chinese ones, or with mince, gravy and potatoes <3 ), but I never peel them that much. I think my eyes might have watered the first time, but no crying.

Onions are great. Chopping/peeling them sucks. But it's worth enduring because onions are so good.

i used to hate peeling onions but my mum showed me how to do it properly and now it it only takes me about 20 seconds at most to have one peeled

Peel them under a stream of water over the sink. No more watery eyes.

I only like onions in soups and stews, and even then very sparingly. Otherwise I HATE them and I never prepare them myself.

I hate onions. So, when I make food for others and they want onion in it, I tell them to chop it themself. Problem solved. Onion ruins the flavour of good food, in my opinion.
