How often do you make typos? Do you ever post a message and you forget to proofread everything, and then find yourself editing typos? Or do you proofread and then just conveniently miss one?

I typo quite a bit, and I notice that, more than ever, I'm using it in my posts, and even in chat a few times. There is also the rare occasion where I just skip a typo afer proofreading, but normally I do spot them all. It's not just resricted to normal typos; I sometimes leave words out of my posts quite often at as well. D=

I tend to typo a lot in the chat room. Usually I'm not proofreading what I type in there. On the forums I catch most of my typos, though they still slip through from time to time. If I notice one I'll always edit it.

I type differently in forums and in chats xD AIM, IRC, I don't care if I typo and I don't capitalize or punctuate much either In forums, it's not even watching out more for them, it's just habit

I make a reasonable number of typos from rushing my typing, but I always go back and correct them, as best I can. Chatting, I don't watch as much, unless it's really bad. If I typo in a post and don't notice until after I submit it, I'll go back and edit it. Sometime's I'm fast enough to escape the embarassment of the "Last Edited" tag .

As much as it annoys me i always do a typo in IM's! But i do get to correct myself at times...so its not too bad

In chat it's generally a lot worse though.

I usually only notice my typos once I've posted the message. I go back and edit them, though. Usually they're either formatting errors or extra letters.

I'm always putting "your" and "you're" in the wrong context. Maybe I should take a course.
As for other typos, well they crop up now and then

I type a lot in MSN. I'm always correcting myself there. I typo quite a bit in here too, but I usually edit my posts a few times and catch them.

Every now and then, I'm typing and I actually drop words out of my sentence, which is embarassing. That's when I edit. If I make a typo, I catch it before I post, 90% of the time.
