A bit more information for you:

When you extract an FMV you will have two files, a *.m2v file (video) and a *.wav file (audio). Unless you have a codec capable of playing *.m2v files, and a media player which accepts separate audio and video (I believe Media Player Classic does), you will need to convert the files. I used DVD2AVI to convert the video to a DivX encoded *.avi file, and then used VirtualDub to add the audio to the *.avi file.
