The all time great has to be Sean Connery. He had the acting down perfect, and he was more of a thug than the others, especially that 'Moore' creature. A secret agent should be ruthless and tough, not prissy and laughable. Using Moore was a huge mistake, and I'm glad they got rid of him before he made too many movies. Besides-Connery would give Moore cracks, and thats all that really matters.

My favorite is probably also Connery.

As far as Moore is concerned, I liked the movies he was in but I didn't like him. He had a few awesome ones like Man with the Golden Gun and A View to a Kill, but he himself just didn't fit the 007 mold quite right.

I also like Brosnan. I think he's a pretty good Bond. Had Brosnan been the first and not Connery, then I probably would prefer him. But Connery himself set precedence and shaped the image of the movie Bond into what it is today. Problem with Brosnan is, he suffers from reverse-Moore syndrome. He's a great Bond, but his movies suck with the exception of Goldeneye. I was bored out of my mind during the arctic film with that Icarus thinger (see I can't even remember the name of that movie) but I respect the man for the good job he does playing Bond.

To hell with Battletoads and Double Dragon.
    THIS is the ultimate team.

    Roger Moore.

He was more of an English gentleman. Connery was Scottish, which just wasn't right.

Moore was a sleaze. Connery is Scottish, which in and of itself makes him better ( I'm serious. once people understand and accept Scotland's innate superiority and dominance of the UK everybody will be much happier.) Connery had the dignified, gentlemanly air to him that nobody else really got. Brosnan's come close, but still, he's not Sean. And Sean delivered his cheezy pick-up lines with great nonchalance, while Moore stood there like a great dork seeing if they picked up on the line.

besides. "Nobody does it better" is not a proper Bond song. and Moore had that one in one of his films. it was the most ridiculous and laughable thing I'd ever seen.

I'm gonna have to take an unpopular one I'm afraid and go for Dalton. Possibly Brosnan. Dalton actually came across as an assassin, and The Living Daylights is probably my favourate Bond film. That said, I could easily give it to Brosnan and Goldeneye aswell. Hmmm, may have to watch some films now...

I say what I think. If you disagree, then that is up to you.

Based on this comment alone, I'm going to declare Roger Moore the best Bond ever.

Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I were as great as Paulo Wanchope.

Me too. Roger Moore is a legend. However I do like Pierce Brosnan very much.

I like Roger Moore more (get it? no dont bother laughing) than Sean Connery cause i thought that Moore's 007 films had more comedy and irony in it.

Geez, I HATE Roger Moore as 007. He didn't look the character--he was simply too old. Most of his movies were ridiculous, lackluster, and overall crappy. Sean Connery is the best, I'd have to say, but I do like Pierce Brosnan and Timothy Dalton. Dalton isn't the best Bond, but The Living Daylights is my favorite of the series. And George Lazenby? Ugh.
