Can't be a glitch. Glitches don't do that sort of thing. Don't bother checking for a scratched disc either, 'cause it wouldn't have that effect. You're probably just missing some small detail, happens to me all the time.

i always press circle that makes it go back to zero for the next code

Have you manualy changed the action button from O to X... I did this during one of my games and it can screw up some of the little mini games and such... cause the game doesn't seem to be sure which is the confirm and which is the cancel button... if the counter is going back to zero you must be pushing the cancel.. which if the above is true you will have to set the select button back to O in the select menu or the game will think both X and O are the cancel button.
