Rubedo: I probably wouldn't want the series to end, but soon enough, I would guess that the number of "Original" Final Fantasies will end, and eventually, it will just be sequels/prequls/remakes of different Final Fantasies that were hits; Following the example Shin Seiki Mobile Suit Gundam.
chaos: But, I doubt Square would stop. People will just keep buying and buying the games. Nowadays, the words "Final Fantasy" have that "cha-ching" feeling to them
