It won't work if you try to link to files on your hardrive. Your browser will only display any file at that path, if it exists, and most users won't have a file structure like that (let alone, that exact file name) on their hardrives.

You'll have to upload the file to a web server (like Photobucket) and link to the URL instead. Alternatively, this message board has a nifty Attachments function that will upload the image for you and display it in your post. Check out the Manage Attachments button.
