    Default Sabin

    Hello, I'm new here.
I'm from Israel, And I started to play FF on the summer.
I've played FF1, FF2 and FF3 looked too much the same type of FF1, and even when I played FF1 I've started to get bored.
When I started playing FF4, I was thinking I've finally the perfect game. I was wrong, it has too many Deanguens. I didn't play FF5, I have no idea why.
When I played FF6, I understanded: Finally- IT IS A PERFECT GAME.

And now for the real question:
I know you all hate Ultros. Everybody does.
Now I'm in the opera. Yesterday, Somebody shot me and accidently I've choosed just Sabin together with Locke and Celes.
Well, not really. I'm just stupid. I could take Locke, Cyan, Gau and Cyan, but NOOOOOO!!!
And the biggest problem is: I'm using ZSNESW to play the game on PC. And I don't know where to change the game keys. I mean, I'm in the opera with Sabin (In lever 15) and I didn't used AuraBolt even once!

Help me: what keys I have to press in ZSNESW to use AuraBolt or any other Blitz?

    Thank you!

You can change the keys in znesw's menu (config -> Input #1).

To find out how to use Sabin's Blitzes just check his Skills-menu. If you don't have a gamepad, you should use the alternative inputs (press the previous direction twice instead of a diagonal direction, e.g. down, down, left, A instead of down, down-left, left A).

    btw: I love Ultros!

Thank you very much, you've reallu helped me, but...
AuraBolt is still not working. I set the DL key to + key, but it just dosen't work.
    WHY???

Just don't use diagonals. You don't even have to set keys for them.

To use AuraBolt (the "hard" way) press down, down and left at the same time, release down, release left, press A.
The easy way is to press down, down, left, A.

I highly recommend to use the easier combinations without diagonals (see my previous post) as you're using a keyboard.

    Default well..

    OK, NOW I've got it!

I just hope I will beat Ultros soon. I just realized.. Ultros isn't stupid and silly, he just have too much STYLE!
So we all love Ultros, don't we?

A little edit: Something I love about Ultros, is that you have to think about a strategy, and to think about a good one. Well, I can't think about one. Actually, I can. But it's never work.
I have Sabin, Locke, Celes (But she's not in the battle..) and two espers: Ramuh and Siren.
    Could somebody PLEASE help me?

Why do you only have 2 Espers? You should have 4 at that point.

The best strategy is to equip Sabin with the Fire Knuckle and try to hit Ultros from behind. His second weakness is Bolt, so summoning Ramuh might help.

If you've missed the Fire Knuckle in Zozo (get it now or) use Sabin's Aura Bolt and give the Genji Glove to Locke which will make him attack twice or let him summon Ramuh or cast Bolt!

If it's too difficult with two characters (which it shouldn't be...), just load an earlier savegame or let Ultros drop that weight (don't worry, you'll get another try!) which will also make you leave the Opera House. Go back to Narshe and get another Character or go to Kohlingen and get Shadow (if he's still there...) who will join you for 3000GP if you don't have 4 characters in your party.

I like to use the 10-key, personally. Just coordinate the numbers with the obvious direction, and it's Blitzing made easy.

Oh, yeah, and depending on what level you're at, it'd be even better to use Fire Dance against Ultros, if you have it.

If you have a lot of Tinctures, use 'em. To change party members, you've gotta hike all the way back to Narshe.

If you took the Espers you should have them. You get Ramuh, Kirin, Stray and Siren in Zozo. I've played this part two days ago so I'm pretty sure about it. Anyway they're hard to miss so something might be wrong with your rom or whatever...

What do you mean saying "Celes alone can't get to Jidoor"? Why is she alone? And why can't she go back there?

I recommend going back to Jidoor (it's not that far - 2 enemy encounters max. and you can run away). There you can buy some Phoenix Downs and get a Chocobo to ride back to Kohlingen where you can get Shadow or to Figaro Castle which brings you back to Narshe.

Don't you have to go back to Zozo, then?? I think that was it. If so, go and get Edgar or Gau, they probarly have good powers against Ultros. Including some thunder-spells and the awesome crossbow.

I meant that I saved beafore fighting Ultros, and I can get back to the opera entrence only when they die. I don't have any Fenix Down, so I can't go to jidoor to get a chocobo just with celes.
Oh, and I'm preety sure I tooked ALL the espers, and I preety sure I went to Jidoor with Celes, Locke, Sabin AND Cyan.

    any chance of a bug?
I try'd to go back into Zozo and change my party members, but they aren't there anymore.
    Can I find them anywhere?

You will only have one or two enemy encounters on your way back to Jidoor. And you can run away. So it's no problem to go there with only one character. By the way if you just stand there and wait until Ultros drops the weight, you can leave the Opera House without losing one single HP. So you can go back with all your characters.

I'm not sure where your party members are. But I'm quite sure they do not stay at Zozo. Try looking at Narshe. You really should have four party members before finishing the Opera House because you won't have the chance to change your party for quite a long time...

I still wonder what happend to your Espers. Maybe actually a bug...

    Oh my.
I'm F***ING dead. After the fight with Ultros, Locke and Sabin are wounded, and I don't have any Fenix Down. In the very first battle after Ultros in the enterence to the opera, Celes Dies. I was using just the inn or some chocobos. I didn't buyd any tents.
I didn't find any save point and I buyd a lot of tonics in Kohlingen, and I have no more- That's why I didn't used the inn.
The last Save Point I used was in narsha, beadore choosing teams and fighting Kefke.
Even if I have power to go to Jidoor, I DON'T have the power to go and see if the espers are in Zozo, or go and check if the team is in Narsha.
    any idea?..
The Third edit: with a Warp Stone, I made it to Jidoor. now what should I do?
The FOURTH edit: yes, I'm in Narsha. Yes, they're there. Yes, I changed
my team group. the espers are a mystery now. I think I know what happend to them... (continueing in 3 minutes in the same edit)
Nope, the espers are still a Mistery.
I'm going back to the opera. If anyone got any idea what happend to my espers, HELP ME. PLEASE.

Very important thing: You don't need savepoints to save on an emulator. Just press Esc, choose Game -> Save state and press Esc again to return to the game. However, you could consider it cheating...

Did you look for the Espers in Zozo (where you find Terra)? Which ones are missing?
