I'm pretty shocked that things like this even made it to air. Station managers typically have the foresight to put a stop to things like that. I could understand if it was allowed to be aired the first time, because radio is live, but on multiple occasions?

That's absolutely horrifying.

PS: The FCC exists primarily to enforce obscenity laws, and I think it's necessary. People shouldn't be allowed to get on Nickelodeon at noon (when my five year old cousins are watching TV before lunch) strip naked, snort coke and murder their parents ritualistically kthx. I think the FCC can be very harsh in somecases, but in others I do believe they do what's necessary to prevent idiocy. In short, it's like everything else; you have freedom as long as it doesn't effect someone else's freedom or happiness.
