    Default "Otherworld" artist?

Who's the band who performed "Otherworld" (that metal-sounding song during the opening blitzball game) on Final Fantasy X?

Yes, in the moonlight she is even more beautiful...

    It's not Rammstein. That's just a rumor.

Uematsu did an interview about the singer on the OST version and basically said it was some guy he met and thought would be a good voice for the song. After they recorded it and everything he hasn't even heard from the guy since.

    I beleive that's correct, necro...

And Shoden, Rammstein is a german heavy metal band that sings in, well... german. They're becoming very popular over here in America. You may have heard a couple of their songs, most likely Mein Teil, Amerika, or Links 1-2-3...

You would probably recognize them if you heard them.

It can NOT be Rammstein singing otherworld, it sounds nothing LIKE Rammstein!

Anything 'metal' that people dont know the artist of, they'll attach random well known bands, like Rammstein or System of a Down. Like that Zelda rock remix, if you look for it on any peer to peer, it says it's performed by SoaD, which is bull.

They've done the occasional song in English, such as Stripped from their album 'Sehnsucht'.

But yeah, Otherworld has nothing in common with their style. The high-quality guitar and keyboard composition is pure Uematsu. Didn't he actually play the keyboard or guitar for that song, too?

It's not really any particular band, just a bunch of studio musicians. An interesting fact though, the lyricist, Alexander O. Smith, is the guy who says "Maybe Im a Lion" on the Black Mages II version.
Yeah, you know I Sabin have both the Genji Glove and Offering, inflicting max damage with each blow. Doom? Pwn3d. Kefka? Pwn3d.

    Too big.

He's also been one of the main translators of the games, ever since FFVII.

Yes, and the drummer even makes a small mistake around 2:05.
