it can't be less than half an hour! they cant be spending all this time on a 27 minute movie!!!! its gotta be over an hour; but how long exactly? the longest prediction so far that i've seen is 90 mins.

It was originally extremely short W-aaaaaa-y back in the very bones of the story but that story only featured Cloud and Tifa. Then when everyone learned about it and it was set to be an actual movie an hour was the set time but they wanted to add more fight scenes for entertainment soat least an hour and a half at present.
it may be over 90 mins and this will reach almost for 2 hours...

27 minutes is the length of the preview that was shown at film festivals. The film will be over 90 minutes. It is not out yet, so anything anyone is downloading are trailers and previews.
