BAHAMUT IN FFXI!!

I want to know once and for all if bahamut is a summon, because some people say its only part of the CoP storyline but someone else said that a level 30 smn with CoP could summon him. If this is true please tell me cause its driving me crazy.

Also, Im only a lvl 12 War (i just started), and I was wondering where a good place to level up is near Sandy because Ronfore is too easy and Valkrum is way to hard alone. thanks

1) No. Bahamut is not, and will never be, a summon in FFXI. He's a plot-driven NPC. Best summon you'll ever get is Fenrir

2) If you're a level 12 war, level in the Dunes--in a party. You're a tank, and people need tanks badly on most servers.

You can resume your antisocial habits once you hit level 30 and unlock bst.
