Ok, I'm just asking about your opinion on this. What do you think about forums that have a porn forum? This means that porn is allowed, but only in that forum. What's your opinion on that? Does your opinion about the forums as a whole drop solely because it has a forum for porn?
EDIT: Also, no, I'm not suggesting that EoFF has a porn forum. No way.
I think that often times, when a forum has to resort to adding a forum just for porn, I think it degrades the forums a whole lot.
Apparently, I have been declared banished.
It does drop my opinion of it a bit. But its none of my business. I'm not the admin, and if I like the community, I'll keep going anyway, I'll just stay out of that forum.
That and so long as its only accesible by a password and those over 18/21 depending on your area.

Porn forums are for Kraptasticas and other low-level, stupid MBs. I can't list very many because I do not associate with those kind of boards.
A porn forum for a gaming/discussion forum is just stupid, and shows a definite lack of maturity of the board as a whole. It gives a definite impression of the entire MB, as well as the staff.
It also attracts the WRONG kind of people.
But yeah, you already knew my stance on this, Jeff. I struggled not to go off on a longer rant.
Porn doesn't really interest me much, so I see no real need in sharing/discussing it. If someone wants to share/discuss it, I don't care WHAT they do, as long as I'm not forced to see it.
I think if you want to have a porn forum, you can make it hidden and only users of age can peruse it. But then you have people who lie about their birthdays.

I don't care if the porn is in a "porn forum" because then I can always not go there, but when the porn is randomly throughout the whole forum, it gets annoying. Especially because then my dad thinks I'm looking at porn

The only time I could see the need for a porn forum would be at a porn site. But most people don't go to porn sites for chit chat.
we have a porn forum at <a href=http://www.basementforums.com/forums/index.php?>The Basement</a> but it's a place dedicated to discussing love, relationships, and sexuality, so it isn't out of place.

A porn forum belongs on a porn site. No where else. If the people want porn so badly then send them to a porn site or tell them to shut theup. If you are so horny that you need porn everywhere you go then you have major issues. I don't go to work and demand that they have video games for me to play. On top of that I browse forums at work. I would automatically stop going to any forum like that because it can get me fired.
There is just so much wrong with it.
I had a forum that was dedicated to porn and serious discussion was only allowed in one section of the forum.
I started it as a joke, but attracted some real freaks.

Porn forums are for small or trashy message boards. Like, for example, The Basement's porn forum is yippie fun. That's probably because the whole forum is more adult-oriented though. And everyone there is very mature, excluding Joel.
My internet home, SomethingAwful, had a porn forum until very recently. It didn't degrade much of anything. The Bit Torrent forum, however, attracted a slew of the internet's finest retards.
