It's valefor, you're describing how he it effected Tidus and Yuna.
First on the trail, I fly to her side(Yuna first summons Valefor at Besaid
and used it in battle first on the Besaid forest trail)
Fall from the heavens, his eyes open wide(Describes Tidus, when he first saw Valefor)
Anger I share with him once truth is known(Tidus gets angry later about the truth of the final summoning and Valefor, sort of embraces him)
The fear and the sadness of being alone(describing how Tidus felt in that scene)
She knows not to falter or worry at all
For I will be there for her if she should fall(describes how Yuna should feel if Valefor is alongside her in battle)
A twisted finale, a heartbreaking end:
For the sake of the world, she looses a friend.(describes how Valefor, is destroyed in the end, even though she viewed it as one of her closefriends.)
