yeah same thing happened to me zepho. but the really strange thing is that the author of naruto was inspired by dbz and tried to make it sort of similar, i guess he failed to copy a <img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif> series and accidently created something far better.

I never got much enjoyment out of Evangelion. Up to this day I consider buying death, rebirth and end of evangelion my second worse purchasing choice (First being two Ninja Scroll DVDs... ewww.)
Naruto is something I really like though! Lots of action and a decent storyline. You've gotta love that perverted hermit!

Since I live in England It's generally quite hard and annoying to get any anime other than that which is released here. At the time I had heard Evangellion was a great series so I decided to rummage around and see if much was for sale in England.
Alas only the movies were available so I decided on wether to put the effort and money into buying the series on wether I enjoyed the movies. sadly to say, I never got the series.

You should really try to get them from somewhere..Either download them or order them online..They really worth the effort..

Hey I may have never seen the anime of Naruto but I have readthe manga it's cool...
Yep i made a thread about this a while ago....i reckon its awesome....love the summon battles! Only seen the anime but it goes much into deeper issues and story lines compared to DBZ...
And its not one of those save the world stories...im gettin sick of the "save the world" stories...it pretty much overdone!
I kinda dig Hinata-sama shes pretty cool and funny yet incredably shy lol!

I've seen Naruto through 119... from 118. It was really interesting to try and figure out who all the people were. I'm going to try and get some earlier episodes when I can. FMA.... I love FMA (Also known as Full Metal Alchemist)... I can't say its better than Naruto as I haven't watched but 2 episodes of Naruto, but FMA is absolutely wonderful.
