Best Cid?

Cid Highwind was the best Cid - in VII he was a actually a developed character, rather than just a background presence who repairs airships.

On a slight tangent - What is it with so many of the Cids being involved with airships? I never really thought about it before, but they were all related to the airships in the FF games I've completed:

FF5 - Cid repairs the airship for the party
FF7 - Cid's an airship pilot
FF8 - Cid tells the party how to transform Garden into an "airship"
FF9 - Cid builds Hilda Guarde
FFX - Cid salvages Al Bhed airship

interesting. I haven't finnished FF4 or 6 so I don't know if the pattern stands in those as well. . .

Cid from FFIV also had a connection with Airships, since he created the (SPOILER)Enterprise and also the Red Wings, if I recall correctly. I remember that Cid said something along the lines of not wanting anyone other than Cecil in charge of his Red Wings.

Gotta go with the Cid that started it all! FF2j Cid! Without him there would be no FFVII Cid! Cid and Mid from FFV are quite a pair too.

Nothing can beat Cid Highwind. He is so nostalgic of a post world war 2 ace pilot book. Also the first time I saw his dynamite limit break my characters died cuz I was too busy lmao.

I, like just about everyone else, went with Cid from FFVII. Hilarious, and the Highwind limit break made me include him in my final party.

I'm surprised T. G. Cid (Orlandu) from Tactics got relegated to "Other," though. He was an insanely powerful character.

Cid from FF1 duh!.... no im just kidding actuley suprised to see someone voted for him considering there was none...i mean they mentioned he built the airship on DoS and PS versions but thats about it......oh by the way im jumping on the bandwagon for Cid Highwind (FF7) or Cid (FF4) i mean seriously who jumps out of an airship with a friggin timebomb and lives
