Your thoughts on Kefka...

After seeing so much said about Kefka in other threads that were not even about Kefka, I thought it only fitting to start a discusion on him.

And deserving of one he is.

He is in all my favorite FF character and FF villian. Being the most successfull of all villians and one who you knew was evil without question. So tell me, what are your thoughts on the beloved, infamous Kefka?

The only other villain worth naming is Garland!

(And the only reason for that is because he has no character except what is held for my wild imagination, which creates him to be quite a villain indeed, but still not one so wildly maniacal and vicious and evil as Kefka)

Kefka: The only ff villian is history to truely mess up the world big style (much like the politician who fulfils all their elections promises : rare, surprising and strangely pleasant). Plus clowns are REALLY scary.

A great villain and without a doubt the most evil out of all the FF villains.
Still... there CAN be even more evil guys. Kefka: 8/10 in evilness.

I love him because he Isn't Evil with a cause (which sometimes makes you a tiny bit sympathectic, like Garland wanting to preserve his people) hes just mad which makes you just want to hate him! I'm not a sympathetic person in case you havn't noticed!

That scale is strangly, acurate. And by Garland I am assuming yu mean the FF1 Garland, not that wimpy FF9 Garland.

I agree! Kefka was the nicest of all the evil clown fiends. Now if Ronald McDonnld tried to take over the world and kill multiple people we'd be in trouble... wait, he's already doing that.

(SPOILER) Kefka was Cid's first magitek experiment. A soldier in the Imperial Capital of Vector informs you before you go into the MRF. He is in the pub. Kefka was insane, not evil.

Hes truely original. My fav Kefka moment, The party confronts him before the final battle, makes there epic save the world and masturbate speech, Kefka is silent *drumroll* "You sound like a self help booklet!"
Im thinking "OMG Its true!!!!!" Hes the most original FF villain ever. Plus he actually suceeded in destroying the world. One of his most interesting factors.

Kefka is the greatest villian to grace the final fantasy series. Yes, he was the only succesful destroyer of the earth, yes, he slaughtered people for no reason whatsoever, and yes, he still manages to keep a funny tone to him. He's the evil clown that we all love!

kefka...was a genius...you hated him so much that it was ridiculous that somone could be so..so meanfull (ok i doubt thats a word but work with me pepole) and in that you respected him for what he did...cause he wanted somthing..and he got it...in short..a genius

Kefka is probably one of the best villains in any video game, and most certainly better than just about every other villain in Final Fantasy.

back in the early days of web site creation i made a website dedicated solely to the #1 greatest villain, Kefka. He embodied the true essence of insanity. At times he was even used as comedic relief to lighten the depressing moments. Truely one of the greats!
