They should make a kickass lead character that is female, for a change, instead or a girlish teenage boy. -_-

I agree. Swordgirls are much love.
everything is wrapped in gray
i'm focusing on your image
can you hear me in the void?
I would personally prefer some innovations(not sure about hte new battle system guess we'll see).
Basically I like how the characters were in 6. there was no real lead... only time someone was forced in your party was for story... I loved that.. I think that is how it should be. I like the Battle arena in VII and I like how VIII's limits were done. I liked V's job system.... I also like Tactics job system though. I liked how tactics battles were done... other then the fact that they can take forever. With how battles are ingaged I like the Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross way of doing it. Parasite Eve's battle system was fun... but I don't think I would like doing it with multiple characters.... etc...
BTW yes a lead female would be nice... a good lead female. but I still like the no real lead but all are important and could be lead(ok maybe not all but people do debate who the lead of VI is)
i would like to see a Summon be the lead, or a cactaur
Yes, i do think FF13 should be differnt, it's really the begining of the teens and i would hope would make the differnce 7 did to the serise.
I personally know women who are like Auron (thankfully not living dead tho) AND are excellent sword-fighters. It's about time not only did a mature character take the lead role but a mature Female take it, with a great BIG whopping sword.
i would like things to look exciting, over the top, to make swords and guns a hundred times bigger than they were before (make up a mythical metal that is light), to make summons a lot darker, older and magical along the lines of Mignolas hellboy. I want science and theory crushed under the sudden unrelenting assault of WildMagic and the world taken to the very brink of change.
FF13 - Unlucky for Some
That all sounds very familiar... FF6 anyone?i would like things to look exciting, over the top, to make swords and guns a hundred times bigger than they were before (make up a mythical metal that is light), to make summons a lot darker, older and magical along the lines of Mignolas hellboy. I want science and theory crushed under the sudden unrelenting assault of WildMagic and the world taken to the very brink of change.
I think they would be hard presed to come up with ideals that are different from what they arleady have dome up with. Any big changes would probably be in the way they present it.
Again, This was done before.FF6 centered around two lead women at differnt points in the game, each exstremly powerful in their own right, one being basically a magic powerhouse, the other being an ice-hearted general. The only thing is, the lead could change, as it often did, with the progression of the story. They should make a kickass lead character that is female, for a change, instead or a girlish teenage boy. -_-
Seeing as how this all worked so well for FF6, I am all for it!
You say you want to hear the truth? I say that you are lying! You do not want the truth. Instead you want to hear a well crafted lie mixed with half truths that you find more appealing than the real truth.
The Legend of Mythus
Is it ok if I talk about stuff other than the battle system? I hope they make the feel and style of this one like FFVII. That one had the best background story and designs. But yeah, umm, good battle systems would be nice ^_^
Here's a little note: Chances are FFXIII will be on PS3
Final Fantasy XIII is coming for PS3 but square cut out the number XIII because it's bad luck in north america.
it's going to be called Final Fantasy PS3

Personally, I don't want the old stuff back. The day FF stops moving forward and trying new things is the day I get off this crazy train ride. If I want the old style games, I'll go back and play them. Frankly, after well over a decade of playing pretty much every FF ever made, I'm sick of a lot of the older conventions such as ATB and random battles, which is why I'm pretty psyched about FF12. With FF13 I want them to continue bringing us new experiences. If they can mix in some of the old in a way that I haven't seen before, then by all means, but god help them if they bring back random battles.
There will certainly be different stylistic tendencies between FFXII and FFXIII, as SE has already stated that different development teams will be involved with the creations of the two games. Yoshinori Kisase has suggested, after all, that a Final Fantasy for the PS3 is being developed by some offshoot of the FFX team.
That being said, it's reasonable to expect that FFXIII will continue the overall evolution of the series. It's impossible to really say how this will manifest itself, but you're probably setting yourself up for a letdown if you expect a return to certain so-called classical elements. As to FFXII, I'd be hesitant to be unduly critical or praising of a game that hasn't yet been released. For now, news of FFXII has been encouraging, and I'm hopeful that the game will fulfill my rather high expectations.
