symbol on final 5, quick question.

In final fantasy 5 when once in a while when i kill a monster two slashes appear over the creature and a japanese symbol comes. I have no clue what it does and it happens randomly alot but, more so on ceartain creatures. If anyone has a clue thanks ahead of time.

Do you have the mage masher equipped or something similar?

In that case, my guess would be that it says something like 'silence' but that's speculation

That's the only thing I can think of.
But, wait, Silence has two cloud puffs then a Japanese symbol.
Is there a weapon that causes instant death or something?

If I remember correctly... yes there is an instant death weapon.... silence, death.... and for some reason I thought there was one other that would use a japanese symbol.....

maybe that was a dream, cuz I certianly can't think of anohter

Yeah, it's definitely Silence. It should have a red X that throbs twice, then the blue japanese symbol.
