I dunno why single people look at Valentine's Day so cynically, it's a cute holiday.

Well, it's tough. It's very easy for the people to have dates to say Valentine's Day is a great holiday.

For the people who don't(either by choice or by default), it's one of the worst days of the year. Because they feel that everyone is in love but them.

As for me, I'll most likely be working. Hopefully my request for the day off will be granted, but I'm so far down the totem poll(because I lost my seniority when I came back) that I don't have much of a choice.

My single buddies and I are getting together for a night of chick flicks, ice cream, and much ranting and raving about the failures of ex-boyfriends. Should be fun.

I'm going to stay home and watch Aladdin on the Disney Channel. What better fun?

It seems to me that people are taking V-day as to spend only with their boyfriend/girlfriend. But...isn't it a day to spend with ANYONE you love, friends and family?

I was gonna make something special for my guy friends who like to treat me out and stuff. I was gonna make all of em my secret recipe fruit salad in small batches. But now it's like.. really troublesome and I'm taking back the plan. I've been avoiding the proposed Valentines dates that two of my guy friends have been trying to make a move on me with. >_> It's a headache this year trying to say I'm not interested in a nice way to them esp when they think of Valentines Day and me.. X_x I dont really like to bring my guy friends down but it's gotta be done.

I'm spending Valentine's Day alone,, but in equal thought with a special guy who lives an hour away from me. I don't have a car right now cuz my sister bought my car and he doesnt have one right now either so it sucks how we can't spend it together. I'll be fine though because knowing him is enough. Awww, so sweet.
