It's safe to say that both games were absolutely enthralling, amazing and spectacular. They both featured memorable characters, stellar plots and superb settings. I really can't judge which game was better, in my eyes, they are equal in every respect. Both had great battles, such as when Crono & Co. fought Magus, and the final battle against Lavos. But the battle against Dario in CC was equally amazing, as was the numerous battles against Lynx. Both games had excellent battle systems, and unique aspects of these systems set these games apart from many others. The 'Element System' from CC was very enjoyable, but so was the seamless action sequences of its 2D counterpart. Both games deserve a respectable niche in any true RPG gamer's collection.
