    Quick question about Gameshark...please please PLEASE help???

    I CANNOT KILL KUJA AT ALL.

    So, I am giving up and buying a Gameshark.

    I only have a PS2 though, and someone told me you have to actually buy a PSone to use the PSone gameshark...but I saw this PSone gameshark on Madcatz's website that looks like it should work on my PS2. It's just a normal game disc, and PS2's are backward compatible anyway...so it make sense that it would work on my PS2, but I don't know for sure.

    Can someone please tell me if this disc will actually work on my PS2 before I go off and buy it like an idiot?

    It's just like with memory cards - PS1 Gameshark for PS1 games, PS2 Gameshark for PS2 games. I know this from experience.

    I get that.......but I need to know if the PSone gameshark will work if I use it in my PS2, or if I actually have to go out and buy a seperate PSone console to get it to work..........

    No worries. Be careful though, Gameshark does have a tendency to be incredibly fickle. I cant get mine to work sometimes, so be patient.

    Which reminds me - Dont use the Max HP cheat on Garnet, it'll set her Max HP to zero and she'll be permenantly dead no matter how many times you heal her.

    A) My gameshark refused to work on my PS2, so be wary.

    I'm sure there are, lol lol. But I think I have more fun than the couches, you know, having actual thumbs and all.

    I use an Xploder disc and it runs fine, although you do have to add cheats by hand yourself, but still, never had any problems
