Can anyone answer these coz im stuck!
1)Where is the al bhed volume on macalania lake road?
2)In the cavern of the stolen fayth is there a certain order to attacking magic urns (the one with prizes)?
3)What are the shining thorns for theat you steal from dark elementals?

1)Where is the al bhed volume on macalania lake road?

It is in the map closest to Macalania Lake, on the path that heads upwards towards the high ice road (the one to the right of the save sphere, IIRC).

2)In the cavern of the stolen fayth is there a certain order to attacking magic urns (the one with prizes)?

No, not that I am aware.

3)What are the shining thorns for theat you steal from dark elementals?

I think you use them to give Aeons Mental Break.

The Magic Urn is practically invincible. All you can do is attack one of its five eyes and then wait to see what happens.
If You're lucky the creature will drop an item such as an Elixer, Phoenix Down, Soul Spring, Stamina Tablet, Silver Hourglass, Frag Grenade or Lunar Curtain.
However, if you're unlucky (and you are most of the time) the Magic Urn wil blow itself up. Flight might be your best option!!!

it isn't invincible you can beat it with an overdrive a bit later on in th game it only has 99999 life.

The only way I know to kill a Magic Urn is with Zanmato.
