It could also be a borked CD/DVD drive. I have heard older ones make similar sounds before.
Hmm, nothing seems out of the ordinary so far. Fans and CD drives are still intact. I'll just hope it stops farting.

When specifically is it happening? Is it random, or everytime the computer reads the hard drive or cd or something? Do you notice a pattern of any kind, like certain programs or time or something?
It's just happened twice, but those two times has happened the last 24 hours, so I don't know. And for all I know, it's making the noises randomly. I've just been browsing the internet both times. I haven't find anything broken yet though.

In the past when my comp made fart like sounds, it was coming from the power supply. It's kind of annoying when you're trying to watch a movie.
