before you can go to the inside of Sin, You will gain control of the airship. There are several secret destination you can go to.

There is a seach function wich enables you to find additional locations on the map. The X and Y coordinates is what matters here:

X-axis Y-axis Destination
11-16 57-63 Baai temple (Anima)
12-16 41-45 Sanubia Sands (Valley of the Cactuars)
29-32 73-76 Besaid Falls (Waterfall Way)
33-36 55-60 Mi'ihen Highroad (the ruins in the water)
39-43 56-60 Battle site (Mushroom Rock Beach)
69-75 33-38 Omega Ruins

Also, before you go into the Omega Ruins you may want to get some armor that has Berserk Ward/Proof and Stone Ward/Proof on it, a lot of fiends in there hit with a lot of status effects.

you forgot confuseproof. It's generally worse than berserk proof, because with berserk, there's at LEAST a chance you'll hit that marlboro despite being blind.

Being confused means that Rikku, with her moderate accuracy will miss every single time, and auron, who is inaccurate to all get out with KO her EVERY SINGLE TIME. darkness or not.

Or worse, if you go in there after levelling your strength up at teh monster arena, rikku will end up having 10 hp because of poison, will manage to hit yuna (despite the laws of accuracies) and then die from the poison.

which means first hit=<3 because you give it to someone with autolife and hope you don't have to use it.
