Stupid British Government. They are making GCSEs harder because apparently they are really easy. They wont admit we are getting smarter

The exams your preparing for in highschool. A good question thats been asked recently, Are todays youth smarter? Theyre more well infromed alright and have more knoweledge to go around but are they smarter?

i don't think that they're 'harder' just different.
we don't need to know adding skills now that we have calculators.
i just think that they should change them a bit to accomidate all the skills needed.
i work with someone who says that they have a B in GCSE maths yet does not know their times tables.

High schools should give some sort of intelligence every year. You wouldn't believe the kinds of idiotic things I hear coming out of my peers' mouths everyday.

"How would you survive on an island?"
"Well, first, if a bear attacked me, I'd break its neck."

Talking about WW2:
"Anyone know what the USS Missouri was?"
"The first metal ship?"

During a debate about the Panama Canal:
"How did we wrong the natives?"
"WE GAVE THEM THE SMALL POX!"(no exaggeration)

Just like American SATs where they added the writing section? I'm glad I graduated before all that shiete... Those tests are overrated
