I think I ate some bad beacon
I spelled the word "answer" as "awnser" for the first 14 years of my life, but nobody ever corrected me. I only realized it was wrong once I started using computers and spell check. So, I think we as society should be thankful when people laugh at our spelling, because it means we have suffered shame and will be sure to never make that same mistake again.

I was flabbergasted earlier this year when I started English IV and I realised that I've been incorrect in using "atleast" all these years. I've always been a good English student, but every now and then I forget to write them as two words.

I used to say "Humerous" instead of "Humorous". Eg - "I find your joke to be humerous".
