1) ...of which console(s) DOC will be based on? I'm gonna be cranked if it's made for some game system I don't own...hopefully it will be a PS2 game, with better voice acting than the FF games for PS2 have had thus far.

2)...if DOC will be anything even remotely close to an RPG? I could handle something that lacked the battle systems of traditional FF games, but if it's just a basic shooter with a threadbare plot I'm gonna be even angrier...kinda like the official LOTR games, though their storyline was actually implied from the films, so I guess they didn't feel the need to go through it in the game. (I will still probably buy DOC, even if it's a shooter, but I doubt I'll finish it.) And please don't reply based on the Devil May Cry games, because I haven't played either of them and I'm rather ignorant there. :O_O:

2006 is fine with me--I think Advent Children will be all the FFVII-goodness I need for one year. Besides, with the limited amount of screenshots, plot info, etc...DOC likely isn't very far along yet, unless Squeenix is really keeping everything under wraps. (I mean, come on...last I checked, most people aren't even sure what genre it is yet.)

Dec 31 2006 isn't so long of a time to wait. When I saw that price, though, I freaked out at first...

I agree, TheAbominatrix--the rating's kinda ridiculous. I'm assuming it's just done by the short-sighed, hardcore FF fans who're determined to stand by DOC even if it's not worth the plastic its case is made of. (Which hopefully won't be the case for either AC or DOC, otherwise I'm going to end up wasting my money. :O_O: )

I think both Advent Children and DOC will be worth all the money, cuz' we'll finaly find out more about Vincent, and what the hell he is, because he definately isnt human, atleast anymore. I may be the only one who has noticed, but in Advent Children, his profile says he's still 27.. in other words over the two years between FFVII and AC, Vincent has stayed the same.. Also, he knows more than anyone else in the movie, yes even more than Cloud. So I being a hardcore FFVII, and Vincent fan, can't wait to find out what all this is about.
