I liked Xenogears and Crescens best. They looked cool and are very speedy.

Ramsus' Gear was very cool looking but got wasted pretty quick by Id's gear. I also thought Elly's gear was cool, especially when Elly (SPOILER)Goes totally nuts on Fei after taking "Drive"

The three most useful gears in the game for me (ie, my final party) were Xenogears, Crescens, and El-Stier.

I know this gear isn't in Xenogears but I think he'd pwn them all.

Id's version of Weltall was awesome followed by Xenogears in a close second. Id's Weltall looked like some sort of devil, while Xenogears was a good contrast, appearing like an Avenging angel.
