Best villain in Xenogears?

what's the best villain in Xenogears? IMO, it's Grahf.

I'd say Id or Krelian - the thing about Xenogears is that most of the villains were very fleshed out,and all had their reasons for what they did. I don't think anyone was just "evil."

Except Shakhan. Man, what a dick.

That game had some of the greatest villians ever. Grahf was awesome, and I loved Ramsus. Id was pretty damn cool as well.

Id, Grahf, Ramsus, Shakhan, Vanderkaum, Elly's Gebler team, the Elements. Xenogears has at least as many great villains as it does little girls.

Grahf and Id were both really good characters, and I especially enjoyed Miang as well. The way she was pulling the strings for much of the game was really interesting.

Grahf, because he really knows how to make an entrance. I can imagine him setting up Alpha-Weltall to play his theme music from the speakers every time he enters the scene.

Of course, the fact that he's a complete rip-off of Darth Vader sort of lowers my opinion of him.

I think that almost all the villains ended up turning good, but the only real villain would have been the AI Deus or miang. All the other villains redeemed themselves.

A close tie between Grahf and Id. Grahf did feel a little too much like Darth Vader, but thats no problem for me. I always felt Sephiroth was a watered down version of Id. Id like Kefka; His insanity is quite well crafted.

Id isn't insane at all. He's just really, really ticked off at everything.

I agree...Its hard to pick one person and entitle him as villain...
they all their own reasons and all preferred their own path....
but still if I had to choose one bad guy it would be grahf
awesome entrance...
