1/35 Soldiers I have 17

I have 17 1/35 soldiers and haven't found a use for them so I'm pretty sure that using the to get "something?" is a myth. Tell me what you think.

By the way I got most of these by going to the speed square in the Golden Saucer and beating the roller coaster thing a bunch of times,also the prizes rotate alot so it does take a while.

There is absolutely no use for the 1/35 soldiers. None.

1/35 means to scale, not if you get 35 it becomes a whole soldier.

None of odd things has any use.

I had heard if you get 12 the soldiers in the battle for the huge materia were free.

They have no use. At all. Whatsoever. Anyone who says otherwise is full of it.

There have been rumors circulating for years suggesting that obtaining 12, 35, or 99 1/35 Soldiers might have a purpose. Common rumors include using them to obtain Sephiroth as a playable character, or decorating the villa with them. All of these rumors, needless to say, are false. Like Tissues, Gamblers, Super Sweepers, and a number of other "strange" items received at the Gold Saucer, they have no application or use in the game.

I've gone to the trouble of getting 35 of the damn things without the aid of a Game Shark or other game code-hacking device (here's a screenshot of my Item Menu I took with my webcam) just to prove that the damn things do absolutely nothing. They don't. I'm sure not going to go all the way to 99, however.

Besides, anyone who was using a Game Shark or other game code-hacking device would be able to add 99 of them to their inventory at any time and see if they had a use.
