You can heal for free by sleeping in the bed in the back room of the relic shop in Mobliz.
You can also heal for free in Narshe by drinking water from the bucket in the Hall of Learning or whatever it's called, and also by sleeping in one of the beds in one of the houses (I think it's the Weapon shop and only during the World of Balance, but I could be wrong. I just know there's a bed somewhere in Narshe you can sleep in).
There's also the kid in Vector that casts Cure on you, so while it doesn't fully heal you until you speak to him repeatedly, it's still considered free healing.
You can nap for free in Figaro Castle, and Doma Castle after one point in game.
You can sleep for free in the cottage north or South Figaro and in the Returners's hideout.
You can heal for free by drinking the water in the cave to South Figaro, and from the lake in the Phantom Forest. Also, by eating at the restaurant in the Phantom Train.
I'm probably forgetting one or two places. >_< Guess I'll have to beat the game again.

It alaways takes me a while to get a signature.. oh guess I do now
There's a house not far from the Dinosaur Forest where the game prompts you to snooze or not. There's also a man in it. His sprite is the same as Gau's father's.
There is? I never found it. >_>
But I think Takara gets to go next because he answered the question pretty thoroughly.
Good job!
Yes, it's a very small house (actually it's pretty detached from the Forest, so when I was levelling up I went there by airship). Pretty much all you can do there is sleep and talk with the man. But I can't remember what he says.Originally Posted by Takara
