Anima may seem slow if you keep using Pain. It causes her to miss her next go, much like Bahamut's Impulse. Keep your eye on the CTB when selecting her attacks. My personal favourite is Yojimbo because he always does Zanmato even when I don't pay him. My second favourite would be Sandy. Her Razzia attack is always the first attack in the game to hit the full 99,999 damage.
