In my opinon, KoF 2003 sucked. Characters are messed up from their old counterparts in old KoF games. Kim was god-aweful and so was Iori. Tag Team fighting is something that is really not needed in this game. The only thing I like about this game is Ash Crimson, he amusies me.

In my opinion, the best KoF was 97, the first apperance of Orochi and kind of gives some insight on why Iori and Kyo wanna kill eachother.

No King Of Fighters is a 2D beat 'em up like Street Fighter, only not as good.
KoF > Street Fighter
Well there's KoF Neo Wave, but that seems more like another KoF '98 than a new game, if you know what I mean. Then there's that 3D one, which I heard people didn't like. Oh well.
The best one imo is kof '03.
