I'd say discussions about it are more annoying.
Dont care as long as i still understand what you say. A little here and there for fun is fine as long as its not cluttered with it.
Funny in certain circumstances, but generally annoying. I tend to stay away from it.

It's annoying more than anything. 1337 in itself is a notable number because of it, but otherwise it's all just annoying.

Ya the blatent disregard for all grammar and spelling online bugs me to no end. I haven't really encountered 1337 since Counter Strike (I still play, just not online). I sometimes say sw33t or something, but that whole thing where not a single character consists of less than two other characters like slashes or whatnot ... ya, that can go.
It's just a awful and confusing.
